Ichi Kitahara a student of Hiroyuki Tokutomi is offering our customers a magnus opus composition from his highly esteemed repertoire. Mr Kitahara has discovered some exquisite flawless briar and decided to use it to create a handsome blowfish pipe. This beautifully executed gem displays intense ( Tokutomi standard ) birdseye grain on both the left and right side panels. The top and bottom flanks clearly demarcate the contrast of horizontal and birdseye grain.  From the front tip of the rim to the end of the stem you can see how a smooth flowing shape greets the viewer. Another charming point is found where the ornament of the stem echos the shape of the start of the shank.
