Mr. Domoto consistently delivers unique shapes and colors. The SUMI pipe is crafted with a large, round, ergonomic-shaped bowl, and the sandblast texture feels good in the hand and is easy to grip.

A smooth briar band joins the stem and shank. As usual, Mr. Domoto’s handwritten signature is prominently displayed on the bottom base.

The bowl and shank are finished with a deep black stain that resembles coal to complete this work of art. As a result, the pipe has been given the Japanese name SUMI.
