tobaccopipesjapan.com is proud to present a new pipe artisan on our block.

His name is Takahashi Kunitomo. He was born in Tokyo but grew up in Okayama and now resides in Kagawa. He is a big fan of Virginia and Latakia tobacco and has an affection for classical shaped pipes.

Mr Kunitomo has a strong sense of perfection which is evident in the balanced weight of his pipes. His sandblasting technique projects an energetic quality that delineates his work from his predecessors.  Another motif is the marbled wood band that joins the shank to the stem. All of these items are amalgamated into a beautiful symphony of briar art.

We are looking forward to offering more of his pipes to our customers in the near future😃
